Electrician

We are seeking a highly motivated Electrician to assist installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures that all electrical infrastructure supports safe, efficient, and reliable production operations. This hands-on position requires a desire and ability to work as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, as well as the demonstration of a high degree of flexibility, creativity, and initiative applied to the various duties and aspects of the position. This person will be expected to play an integral part of Manus Bio’s team located in Augusta, GA.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Maintenance
    • Install, inspect, and maintenance electrical wiring, fixtures, control systems, and equipment in accordance with electrical codes and safety standards.
    • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machinery and facility electrical systems.
    • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
  • Troubleshooting & Repairs
    • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems, circuits, and components using testing devices and hand tools.
    • Identify root causes of electrical failures and recommend corrective actions to minimize downtime
  • Safety & Compliance
    • Follow all company and OSHA safety protocols, ensuring a safe work environment.
    • Maintain documentation of repairs, inspections, and work orders.
    • Ensure all electrical systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to implement energy-efficient solutions and process improvements.
    • Participate in projects involving electrical upgrades and new equipment installations.

Requirements:

  • Must have computer skills that would enable them to create work orders, word documents and order parts through SAP.
  • Comply with all documentation requirements regarding processing GMPs, safety, housekeeping, environmental and sanitation. All work performed must be done in compliance with company guidelines for safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Can operate within a team-based environment, willing to participate in team activities, serve in Leadership roles, and be receptive to receiving and giving constructive feedback to their team members and management.
  • Must be able to follow detailed instructions as well as work in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Must be able to function responsibly as part of a team.
  • Must by physically able to handle equipment up to 50 kilograms using available equipment. Must be able to lift 40-pound containers repetitively. Must be able to wear required protective equipment, including respirators. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders repetitively when required.
  • Work schedule will vary during shutdowns and other extraordinary conditions to include shift work.
  • Must be able to follow minimal instructions and support safe work practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in Electrical Technology preferred.
  • Licensed Electrician (Journeyman or Master) preferred or ability to obtain relevant certification.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, motors, and control panels.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industrial safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Possess strong communication (written & spoken) and interpersonal skills.

  • Execute the job function with minimal oversite.

  • Experience with various computer applications in a Microsoft Windows environment.

  • Work schedules may vary during outages, shutdowns, or other extraordinary conditions. This position must be able to provide support during these times.
