Manus works across industries and value chains to accelerate the transition to BioAlternatives – better performing and more sustainable versions of complex molecules traditionally sourced from plants, animals, or fossil fuels. Our platform is proven to work across scales, bridging the Valley of Death between lab and manufacturing more efficiently and more reliably to deliver the benefits of synthetic biology today.
We are seeking a motivated Research Associate in Analytical Chemistry to join our team driving the development of novel biochemical pathways in microbial hosts. In this role, you’ll play a key part in analyzing a diverse range of molecules generated through fermentation and enzyme catalysis, while working closely with a collaborative team of scientists across disciplines. You will also have opportunities to develop new analytical methods that enhance the team’s ability to deconvolute complex metabolic pathways. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with HPLC and GC, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and a solid foundation in data analysis and laboratory practices. Most importantly, this position offers the chance to grow rapidly as an analytical researcher while learning directly from a highly skilled international team advancing the forefront of biochemical innovation.
